Illeana Casiano de Vazquez
Illeana Casiano de Vazquez joined Vanguard in 2006 and has developed a career focused on strong coaching and development ability, client focus and communication skills. Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to serve in five of Vanguard’s divisions in both people leader and project manager roles. Currently she is a senior manager, serving as the Financial Advisor Services program manager for the enterprise implementation of Microsoft Dynamics.
Her corporate citizenship efforts have primarily focused on diversity & inclusion, recruiting and talent management. She is one of the founding members of HOLA (The Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement), Vanguard’s crew resource group focused on attracting, retaining, developing, and engaging Hispanic/Latino crew members and celebrating the diverse cultures they represent. In addition, she serves on the Financial Advisor Services Talent Oversight team.
When not spending time with her husband, Sam, and two boys, Sammy and Mateo, she does volunteer fundraising for My Little Lambs Orphanage. She earned a B.A. from De Sales University and an M.B.A. from La Salle University.
Lynnette Dueñas joined Vanguard in 2013 through its MBA Development Program, an eighteen month rotational program where she spent time in three departments helping resolve complex business problems. She is currently a Line Manager in Retail Operations, working on increasing the efficiency of processing client transactions and influencing digital alternatives to manual workflows.
Prior to Vanguard, Lynnette worked primarily in financial services firms, starting with Bear Stearns, as a Derivatives Specialist, Citigroup as a Margin Analyst and Citco Fund Services in Trade Operations Analyst, P&L Analyst and Team Leader roles.
Lynnette is currently the co-lead for Attraction and Selection within HOLA (The Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement) at Vanguard. As an alumna of Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s MBA Prep Program, she enjoys speaking to young professionals, especially minority professionals, about the pursuit of an MBA. She earned a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
